HOMEWORK FOR THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS....RELAX AND ENJOY EACH AND EVERY DAY 
WITH YOUR LITTLE ONES - REMEMBER THE REASON FOR THE SEASON AND CELEBRATE WITH 
THANKSGIVING!!!

THANKS TO ALL OUR CANDYLAND HELPERS THIS WEEK!!!  THE CHILDREN HAD A 
WONDERFUL TIME PUTTING TOGETHER AND DECORATING THEIR CANDY HOUSES.  WE 
COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU PARENTS!!!  YOU'RE THE GREATEST!!!


FYI...Some of us have finished reading all the Scott Foresman readers that we 
have covered so far so there will be a note saying "no book today" under the 
clip.  When we have covered a few more in class,  a new book will be sent 
home.  Thanks for all your help so far.  Your children are doing great!!!



As you read to your child each day, ask these questions when you finish:
  *ask specific questions about details in the story
  *who are the characters in the story
  *what is the setting (where the story takes place)
  *(parents) name three events in the story and ask your child which
            happened first, second, third
  *read a sentence - ask your child to pick out the nouns
   (noun - a person, place, or thing)
  *talk about the adjectives - words that describe 
   (SMALL boy,  GRAY mouse,  HOT day,  ROUND cookie)
  



ALL KINDG. STUDENTS MUST WEAR TENNIS SHOES TO SCHOOL FOR 
PARTICIPATION IN OUR S.M.A.R.T. PROGRAM EACH DAY.
