Well can you believe that tomorrow is December 1st? I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We have a fun and crazy week planned this week. The good news is we have limited homework and no spelling list or vocabulary list this week. No reading log but I would like the children to read for 15 minutes each night. We may have math homework as the week goes on but not tonight. Tomorrow I will be having the children read to me for the Dibels testing. Wednesday, December 2 is our field trip to Belle Meade Plantation. Your child will need to wear their school t-shirt and a sack lunch and a drink-we will eat when we return to school. Please help your child dress for the weather- 50 degrees and rainy (90% chance) so a raincoat or a poncho is a great idea- umbrellas if no raincoat or poncho. In the past most of the tour has been inside but we have to walk from building to building and to and from the bus. We will leave at 8:30 or as soon as the buses arrive. We will meet you at the visitor center at Belle Meade Plantation. Thursday is Mr. Clark's K-2 Music Program 8:00am-tickets are needed for this show-that is something new this year. $3.00 each-get tickets early . Children may wear holiday attire. Immediately after the show we will make 4 Christmas crafts-any and all are welcome to help-bring Tacky Glue if you have it. Friday Mr. Clark's Music Program 3-5 students 8:00 tickets are needed. Whew-what a week!
