I am proud to say that I have been teaching at Lakeview Elementary for 21
years the 2008-2009 school year. Many students and parents know me by my
maiden name of Steinmetz. I received my BA in education for Carlow College in
Pittsburgh, Pa. I received my masters degree from MTSU in Murfreesboro, Tn.
I have been married for 9 years and have a 7 year old daughter, Maura who
will be in second grade here at Lakeview. I think I have the best job in the
world. I still love being in my classroom with my students helping them to
learn. In my free time, I like to read, watch Steeler football and
scrapbook. I am confident that this will be a great year of fun and
learning.
I want to help every child in my class be successful students, enjoy school
and build a strong foundation to be lifelong learners.
