For your InformationFrequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.
Check materials in your child's take-home folder every night. Papers that have failing grades need to be corrected. If these papers are signed by a parent, corrected and returned I will raise the failing grade to at least a 70. Papers need to be corrected and returned within 2 or 3 days. Also, you can read with your child. Even good readers still need to be read to and need to read aloud to someone. Can my child bring textbooks home? Yes, students can bring home any textbook that has his name in it. Workbooks need to stay at school. What can students bring for snack? Students can bring healthy snacks and a drink. I do not allow students to bring colas, cookies, cakes, do-nuts, or other foods with a lot of sugar of caffeine. Lunch is from 11:44 - 12:14. Can students bring birthday treats? Due to the problem of so many allergies, we are not allowing food treats. If you would like to send in pencils, erasers, or something the students can use at school that would be great. Please do not send in toys. What is our related arts schedule?
We have homework every night except Friday - especially math. Please check your child's homework and have him correct any thing missed. Do not do the homework, but do check it for mistakes. I do not give homework on Friday. Be sure to check your child's reading and math teacher's web site for those assignments.
