About The Teacher
I am a graduate of Mt. Juliet High School. This is my eigth year at LHS. I received my bachelor's degree in Spanish from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I then received my master's degree in education also from UTK. I completed student teaching at various schools in Knox county while completing my graduate degree.I also taught for a year in Knoxville. I completed a study abroad program in Puebla, Mexico. I am the department chair for the Foreign Languages department at LHS.

Mission
Although the sign on my door says that I teach Spanish, I consider my main purpose as an educator is to teach life skills. This means I care deeply about my students, but I will not enable them. The world is a tough place and I want them to be an little more independant,responsible,confident and open-minded when they leave.
