Agenda books are used to remind us on what to do. Please check each night,
initial, and
complete any work not finished in class.

- Students really need to study in 4th grade, especially in Social Studies
and Science.
Please help them build good study habits now. Students will know in advance
when chapter/skill tests
will be.

- Reading of some kind needs to be done each night.
The AR program helps build our comprehension, which is very important in being a
successful reader. Students will be given a reading goal each 9 weeks, based
on his/her
independent reading level.  Reading time will be given each day in class;
however, this time will be be
enough. READ-READ-READ! READING is Succeeding! Students will be responsible
to record daily
readings in a "reading log."

- Homework is due the following day after being assigned. Failure to
complete/turn in assignments
will result in the student going to study hall to finish work with help of a
teacher. Students will have
until Friday to complete that weeks work before it results in a zero.

FYI- hard work in class should result in VERY LITTLE homework!!! ☺
