     I have a beautiful little family.  I am an only child, who has one 
daughter, she is 13.  I have been happily married for 14 years and we enjoy 
calling Lebanon our home.  I graduated high school in Kokomo, Indiana and 
completed college at Cumberland University with a "Bachlor of Science" 
degree in Special Education.  I was a special education assistant in 
Trousdale County for 7 years at Jim Satterfield Middle School.  In 2007, I 
began working for the Lebanon Special School District at Castle Heights 
Upper Elementary.  The school system's concept of "inclusion" is amazing and 
works great for our students.  I enjoy being an inclusion teacher and I look 
forward to working with all my students at Byars Dowdy this year.

To Learn and Be Successful

I want all my students to know how important they are and that they can do 
anything they set their minds to.  I want my students to have the confidence 
they need to learn successfully in the classroom.
