Thanks for visiting my site. I am very excited about beginning my fifth year at Walter J Baird. I have
found that being with junior high students is truly my calling. Each day is new, exciting and full of
interesting challenges.
I am a Lebanon native having graduated from Lebanon High School. I received my BA degee in
Language Arts from Western Kentucky University and my Masters Degree in education from
Cumberland University.
My husband and I live on my family farm outside of town and we have two daughters, Olivia and
Caroline. Both attend Coles Ferry Elementary and enjoy Disney, sports and playing at home.
I love to teach and I know this year is going to be awesome. My goal is for each student to grow
academically but more importantly personally. I hope each student develops or at least nurtures a
love of reading and develops a desire to find the answers to their questions. I believe learning is a
personal responsibility and I encourage each student to reach their own personal goals.
When I am not in school I love spending time with my family, reading, watching UT football and
shopping.
