Mission Statement
The purpose of The National Beta Club shall be to promote the ideals of character,
service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students, to reward
meritorious achievement and to encourage and assist students in continuing their
education after high school.
Vision Statement
The National Beta Club, a student-centered organization, continually develops and
nurtures individuals by providing opportunities and experiences enabling them to
demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service and leadership in a global
community.
Junior Beta Pledge

Current Events
COAT DRIVE
During the months of December and January, the Jr. Beta Club will be collecting coats to be given to
students at CHUE and within the Lebanon Special School District. We are accepting both children's
and adult coats as well as gloves, hats, and scarves. Please give items you wish to donate to any
CHUE student to bring to school or bring them and place the items in the boxes located in the front
lobby or in front of each pod.
BOOKS ON TAPE
Beta Club members have signed-up to record chapter books for the Byars-Dowdy Special Education
Department. Students are currecntly recording 35 books but there is a need for adult volunteers to
record books as well. If you are able to help, please contact Byars Dowdy Elementary or Beta Club
Sponsor, Mrs. Anne Weekes @ 444-2483.
CHRISTMAS FOR ALL
The Beta Club looks foward to again sponsoring a family through the Christmas For All program.
