The Lady Knights faced the Lady Cats in a rematch for the tournament
championship. CHUE came out on a mission and jumped on the Lady Cats
early. The Lady Knight's had their sharpshooters warmed up as Latasha Baker
and Julia Fox hit back to back three pointers and pushed CHUE's lead to
double digits in the first half. Fox added to her school records with the
basket by becoming CHUE's all time season scoring leader. The Lady Knights
appeared to be in control at the half with a 23 - 10 lead. The second half
saw the Lady Cats turn up the defensive pressure. The Lady Knights
maintained an eight point lead midway through the half, but the Lady Cats
forced three quick turnovers and trimmed the lead to two with three minutes
to play. The Lady Knights could not convert on the next trip down the floor
and the Lady Cats raced back to tie the score at 28. The Lady Cats took
their first lead of the game on the next possession with just over two
minutes to play. CHUE tied it up with a pair of free throws, but the Lady
Cats would score the next four points. The Lady Knights pulled within three
with a free throw, but saw two three pointers miss the mark as the clock
hit zero with the Lady Cats winning 34 - 31. The Lady Knight scoring was
