2005-2006 Season:

VS Satterfield Middle 11/7/05
The Lady Knights come up short in their first effort of the season.

CHUE boys came out of the gate fast taking a lead of 33-0 by halftime.
Scoring was well rounded as everyone played limited minutes with all 17 players
receiving equal playing time. The Knights' defense did not surrender a point until half way
through the fourth quarter.

VS MJCA 11/10/05
In a turn of rolls, the Lady Knights was the dominate team in this night's
games. Coming out slow at first, it did not take them long to move ahead for good. Taylar Andrews
started out with 2 early baskets in the first quarter, but it was
Julia Fox's 6 points in the second quarter that pushed the game out of reach.

The Knights battled the first quarter to a 6-5 lead. However, Case Sloan
put the teams offense on a different level in the second quarter. After Sloan scored the
first two points of the quarter, the saints tied the score with a 3 pointer from the
top of the key. Then Sloan went on to score 8 unanswered points. The Knights lead at half
time was enough for the win. Dylan Parker showed strength from the post in the third
quarter with 8 points from the post as the Knights went on to win their second game of
the season.

VS Allen Co. KY 11/13/05 3rd Round Championship Game
The Knights struggle early in a game of limited offense on both teams parts.
Not until Michael Joyner's baseline drive layup at the start of the fourth quarter did
the Knights take the lead for good 19-18. Case Sloan helped out with a 2 pointer from
the post giving the Knights the 3 point lead needed to put pressure on the Celtics.
A free throw by Marquelius Cason and one by Case Sloan allowed the Knights a short five
point margin prior to Allen Co. bringing the score back to 3. The post game of
CHUE then played out the last minutes as Dylan Parker and Case Sloan finished with 2
points a piece in the closing seconds.

VS T.W. Hunter (Hendersonville) 11/15/05

Cancelled due to weather conditions. Game was not rescheduled.

VS Friendship 11/17/05
Michael Piercey's three at the end of the first quarter gave the Knights
their first lead of the game. It wasn't until a Commander three pointer followed by a steal
late in the third quarter did the Knights trail. From that point on the game switched leads
several times. Trailing 21-22, Marquelius Cason scored a basket off of a steal at
half court. Friendship tied the game with a made free throw. After a missed scoring
opportunity, Cason again stole the ball and went the distance to give the Knights the
lead of 25-23. Piercey then hit both ends of a one-and-one free throw with 27 seconds
remaining to finish the scoring.

The Lady Knights struggle to find any rhythm in this loss against the Lady Commanders.

VS MJCA 11/21/05

Girls win this one at MJCA. Applying full court pressure was too much for
the Lady Saints to overcome.

However, the Saints had no problem making this a game as they hit two 3's
and 5-5 from the FT line in the first half bringing the score to 17-21 at half-
time. Coming out at half-time, the Saints hit their third 3 point shot for the game, but that
was all they would have. Dominating play by post Case Sloan was more than the Saints could
handle as he finished with 24 points for the game. Marquelius Cason's limited playing
time, due to foul trouble, hindered his scoring efforts, but he did manage to score 8
points on the evening.

VS Mt. Juliet Middle 12/1/05
After trailing by as much as 12 points in the second half, the Knights tied
the game up 41 all on a Case Sloan rebound with 2:09 left in the game. The Bears then
went up 3 on a score and free throw. George Theragood's made free throw brought the
Knights back within 2 points. Patrick Maynard then took over the rest of the game
with a steal of a half-court inbounds play. Maynard was fouled on the lay-up, but still
made the two free-throws to tie the game at 44. With 16 seconds remaining, Marquelius
Cason stole the ball and passed to Maynard who was fouled immediately. Maynard hit the
front end of his two shot free throw attempt giving the Knights a 45-44 lead with
8 seconds remaining. Mt. Juliet's last second shot came up short providing the
Knights with an 8 - 0 record.

The Lady Knights struggled early to score, but made a valiant effort in
their scoring in the second half.

VS Satterfield Middle 12/3/05
The Lady Knights struggle to break the press as the Knights work toward improving their half-court
offense in a slow paced game. After starting out strong, the Knights slow the pace of the game
down in the middle periods before turning up the heat in the fourth.

CHUE's boys 1st quarter lead dwindles as the game proceeds. With a little
over 3 minutes left in the game, the Knights scored their final basket. At this
point the ball game was still within reach as the Knights only trailed by two possessions.
The bears scored seven unanswered points in the final period as the fourth quarter,
again, proved to be the Knights downfall.

Julia Fox hit 3 three pointes in the fourth quarter to make this game a
little closer than the bears would have liked. However, the girls could not overcome the early
lead the Lady bears had established.

Knights at Friendship Christmas Tournament
VS T.W. Hunter 12/16/05 1st Round
The Knights come out to a slow start as they find a way to win in the second
half. While only scoring 2 points in the first quarter, the Knights scored in double
figures the rest of the way out.

VS Friendship 12/17/05 Championship Game
Yet again, the Knights have to wait to the second quarter before the scoring
begins. Hampered by foul trouble early, the Knights had to be patient in order to
get an opportunity to win. However, the Knights efforts came short when Friendship
had fouls to give in the closing seconds, thus not allowing the Knights limited
opportunities to score.

Two close games result in victory for the Knights & Lady Knights. The Lady
Knights were tied going into the fourth quarter before pulling away late in
the game for the 27 - 22 victory. With Friendship bringing the score within
3 and rebounding a CHUE shot, Iesha Hassel had a big steal followed by a
layup for a score that put the game out of reach.

In the boys game with the score at 8 - 10 Friendship leading, Friendship hit
two big threes in a row to take a 8 - 16 lead. CHUE answered with Hunter
Christian's 3 pointer with less than a minute to play before halftime making
the score 11 - 16.

In the second half, the Knights looked for inside scoring from post Turner
Haddock who finished with 13 of his 17 game high points in the second half.
Not until two consecutive 3 pointers by wing Cameron Hill did the Knights
take the lead for good finishing with a 36 - 31 win.

VS MT. JULIET MIDDLE 11/9/04
Chue's girls pulled away in the second half from a 2 point lead at the end
of the first half. Implementing a press in the second half gave the Bears
of Mt. Juliet a little difficulty in crossing the half line. The press,
combined with rebounding from the post postion, gave the Lady Knights a 31 - 23 victory.

In the boys game, Mt. Juliet took a commanding first half lead before the
Knights made an effort to cut the lead to 4 with under a minute in the third
quarter. With under 20 seconds in the quarter, the Bears made 2 shots (one a
buzzer beater) to end the quarter with an 8 point lead. The Knights never
got any closer than the effort of the 3rd quarter.

VS SATTERFIELD 11/20/04
After a big start, the Lady Knights allow the game to get close during the
2nd quarter. This was not enough for the Yellow Jackets to overcome a big 2nd half by the
CHUE girls.

Yet again, the Knights have a slow start. However, the rest of the game
there were never any questions as the Knights win big.

VS MT. JULIET MIDDLE 11/23/04
Chue's Girls win this one before going on break for Thanksgiving.
Ieshia Hassell and Malika Anderson did a great job rebounding and scoring
with put-backs to put this game out of reach. Marissa Jennings had many
assists and supplied the Lady Knights with steals on the defensive end.

The Knights once again start off slow before an outstanding second half.
Jacob Thigpen scores 6 straight points to start the second half giving CHUE
a first time lead.

Big offensive and defensive plays by perimeters Kelan Rhodes, Hunter
Christian, and Cameron Hill lead the way down the stretch for the Knights in
the second half.

VS SOUTHSIDE 11/29/04
Lady Knights win big. This game was a total team effort with all players
getting time on the floor. The Lady Knights made some great defensive plays
with a full court press. They out scored Southside 13-1 in the first
quarter.

The boys made several attempts to seize the lead, but could only tie the
score throughout the last three quarters. In a game that both teams scored
in spurts leaving the Knights losing by four.

VS. FRIENDSHIP 12/4/04

The Lady Knights go to FCS and come away with a convincing win.
Ieshia Hassell hammered 23 points to lead the team to victory.

CHUE's boys were stunned when they lost the lead at the end of regulation by
FT's. After making FT's of their own, CHUE fouled a desperation shot by an
FCS player sending him to the line where he made the first two of three FT's.
The Knights could not withstand foul trouble in the game, and a 3pter to
start the overtime period.
