Hello! My name is Candace Dodson and I will be your child's teacher this year. I look forward to
getting to know you and your child. This will be an exciting year.
This is my 18th year of teaching in the Lebanon Special School District. I have taught the fifth grade
for 14 years and the fourth grade for 4 years.
I have a wonderful husband, Mark, and have two children--Morgan and Kendall. Both of my children
are in high school and are involved in sports.
I received an Associate's Degree from Cumberland University in Business.
I received a Bachelor's Degree from MTSU in Business Administration with an
emphasis in Accounting. I received my Master's Degree in Education from
Cumberland University.
I believe that school parallels life. Therefore, my goal is simple--to
prepare your child to be successful and responsible. The choices we make at school reflect the
choices that we make in life. I hope that the children will begin to understand
that when you work at being your best, you are rewarded.
