About The Teacher

     I am extremely excited about the new school year at Castle Heights 
Upper Elementary.  This is my 5th year here at CHUE as Physical Education 
teacher.  However, this is my 6th year at CHUE.  I am looking forward to
another wonderful school year with  fabulous faculty and staff, some 
outstanding students and supportive parents.
    On a personal note, I have lived in Lebanon for the past 17 years.  I 
grew up in Savannah, TN.  In 1996, I graduated from Cumberland University  
with a Bachelors of Science in Education. While at Cumberland University, I 
played 4 years of varsity tennis.
     My husbands name is Stacy and we have two beautiful daughters.  
Allie is 13 years old. Allie is a member of Walter J Baird's volleyball, 
basketball, and softball teams.  She also plays on a fast-pitch travel team, 
Team WORTH '95. She is #18 and plays left field, 2nd and 3rd base.
 This has kept us extremely busy traveling to places like, Cullman, AL; 
Clarksville, TN; Chattoonga, TN, USFA World Series in Panama City, FL., and 
ASA Nationals in Montgomery, AL.  
     Anna is 6 years old, her favorite color is orange. She will be in the 
2nd grade at Coles Ferry Elementary this fall. She is also a big supporter 
of Lady Knights basketball.  Anna played softball this past summer and fall. 
Her team this fall was the "pink panthers".  Anna now plays travel softball for
TN Elite 01'. 
     They really keep me busy but I enjoy every minute of it.

through practice, and be excited about fitness.
