Miss Deborah Howard

   This is my 23rd year of teaching.  I graduated from TSU with a Bachelor's 
degree.  
Later, I graduated from Trevecca Nazarene College with a Master's degree in 
Administration and Supervision.  I have taught 1st grade for ten (10) 
years,  4th grade for seven (7) years,  2nd grade for two years, and 6th 
grade for three years.  I spend a lot of time with 6, 7, and 8 year olds, 
teaching them at church. I also  work with 4th, 5th , and 6th graders 
tutoring them at the Wilson County Civic League.  I am an avid 
church "goer".  I love God, my family, friends, and my job.  
   This is my fourth year at Castle Heights Upper Elementary and I'm looking 
forward to having a wonderful and productive year.

Mission For The Class

   My professional mission is to provide an environment that is conducive to 
learning.   
My expectations are high for my students academically, behaviorally, and 
socially.  
With your cooperation and support we can accomplish the goal of producing 
successful children, who believe in themselves and develop a love of 
learning.
