Welcome to EXTEND!! I am looking forward to a great year. I have EXTEND classes
on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We will be working on a variety of skills during the year.
The week of November 30-December 4 we have many exciting activities planned. Our
Time for Kids article is
"A Taste of India". We will read this article and then design an invitation using informational text. We have a logic puzzle to complete, as well as a Sudoku. We also will add three new words to our vocabulary--
goad, fertile, and aqueduct.
We will work on another Fibonacci sequence.
Next Monday-Wednesday, December 7-9, I will be attending a conference in St. Louis. I will return to school on Thursday.
