I grew up on a farm in Hurricane Mills, TN. I am a graduate of Waverly Central High,
and Middle Tennessee State University where I received a B.S. and M.Ed. in Physical
Education.
I taught Physical Education, Health, and Driver Education as well as English and
History before becoming a Librarian.
I have been a school librarian for the past 16 years-- 13 in the Wilson County School
System and the past 3 in the Lebanon Special School District.
My objectives are basic: 1. To help students become proficient at using a library or
media center as a life skill.
2. To teach students to see the value and enjoyment in reading!
