Kindergarten News
Our next few units include: Nocturnal Animals, Cultures and Thanksgiving. In math, we will be learning
about plane shapes and solid shapes. Please continue working in your color words and number words
that were sent home to practice. Your child will be assessed on these first two sight word lists soon if
they have not done so already. Also, please help your child at home on writing their alphabet and
numbers 1-10 correctly.
Please remember these important things:
All lunch money needs to be put in an envelope with your child's name on it.
Please pay by the week if
at all possible.
Please be sure to initial your child's take-home notebook calendars each
night. Also, please take all
work out of the notebook each night so that your child starts with a clean
notebook each day unless the
paper is something that is to be returned.
School starts at 7:50 a.m. Please make every effort to have your child to
school on time each day. The
students receive one ROAR stamp for being on time every day.
Important dates:
Fall Party- Friday, October 30th at 1 p.m.
Family Night- November 12th with Make and Take starting at 5:30 p.m.
Thanksgiving Holidays- November 25-27
