Notes for Home:

December will be a very busy month for our school and Kindergarten! Our third graders will be performing their Holiday program on Thursday December 3 at 7:00. Our next Zaxby’s night will be on Tuesday December 8-make sure you put your receipt in the Byars Dowdy box! Our next Kindergarten awards day will be on Wednesday December 16 at 10:00 am.

Kindergarten will be having “Polar Express Day” on Thursday December 17. Children may wear their pajamas (appropriate for school, please) and bring pillows. We will be reading the book and watching the movie. If anyone would like to donate hot chocolate and cups, we would appreciate it!!

Kindergarten will dismiss for our Holiday Break at 9:00 am on Friday December 18. Students will return to school on Tuesday January 5.

We will be having our Christmas Party from 8:00 am to 9:00 am on Friday December 18 as well. I will send home more information later.

Theme Time:

This week our theme will be “Gingerbread Man”. We will be tasting gingerbread and graphing how we eat them! Also, look for a take home activity in your child’s folder today!!

Our focus letters will be y, and x. Don’t forget to complete the homework sent home with each letter!
