Weekly Assignments

Week of December 14-December 18
 
Monday, December 14
Blocks 1, 4, and 5- We will finish our notes on stars/constellations and look at a model of a constellation.
Block 2- We will read lesson 4 over fossils and watch a powerpoint.
Math block- Platonic solids (handout) **This is a new standard and is not covered in our math book.  We will be depending on worksheets and notes to cover this topic.**
 
Tuesday, December 15
Blocks 1, 4, and 5- Make a foldable to help study for Thursday's test.      
                            Complete workbook pages 61-62.  
Block 2- Candy toss game to review for tomorrow's fossil test.
Block 3- (Math) Platonic solids (handout)  

 
Wednesday, December 16
Blocks 1, 4, and 5- Bill Nye video on planets; workbook pages to review for      
                            test
Block 2- Test over fossils
Block 3- (Math)  Success Lab; Platonic solids

Thursday, December 17  
Blocks 1, 4, and 5- Test over Chapter 3 Planets and Constellations
Block 2- Guidance
Block 3- Platonic solids

 
Friday, December 18
No rotation of classes today due to early dismissal.  We will enjoy a Christmas breakfast together.  Please sign up with your child's homeroom teacher if you are able to send a food item in.  Thank you!  I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas break!
