To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch... to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded! - Emerson

The International Student page has been updated and now include pictures of students from China and Iran - Steven and Idris, who came to visit with us. This page still includes the international students from the African continent, Michael Artemis Michailidis-Cutoupes from South Africa and David Kimathi from Kenya, who visited us thanks to Kennedy's Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pope, who are in charge of the international student program at Cumberland University! I will be teaching only science for the 2009-10 school year so I am redesigning my web page to better fit my needs - please be patient as it is under construction!!!! Enjoy your summer! This is the meaning of success." -Ralph Waldo Emerson
