I will probably assign homework on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. There will be no
homework assigned over weekends unless there is a special project, and you will be
given adequate notice for those rare occasions. Very rarely a short assignment may
be given on Wednesday, but this happens usually closer to achievement test time.
If your child completes his or her homework every night for the nine weeks period, an
A will be averaged in with the other nine week's grades. Every three times an
assignment is not completed, the grade drops a letter. The student will also be kept in
at recess to complete the assignment. If a student has missed school and has not
completed the homework, he or she will be given three days to complete the
assignment.
