What are the expectations of students (and teacher!) ?
From talking with students I know they expect me to be fair, kind, and respectful in the classroom. They also want to be challenged academically. I will do my best to fulfill these expectations. What do I expect? I also expect the students to be kind and respectful to others. Our classroom is composed of students from many different backgrounds and abilities, consideration and patience are mandatory!. My expectations for their academic growth are also high. I expect them to take their education seriously and always come into our classroom with a positive attitude towards learning and our teaching and learning environment. I will bond with your child. I expect I will recognize your child's strengths and weaknesses and understand and appreciate all of them. I expect to discover positive things about your child and then share them with you. I expect to love your child. I expect we will have a year of successes and disappointments---- and learn to appreciate both!Back to Top
