Homework

Any work not completed in class is to be finished at home. Check your child's agenda book and ask to
see any work that has been completed; you can tell if your child is putting forth his best effort. Daily
homework consists of any assignmet not completed, plus:

- reading for 15 minutes each evening. Our days are so full that there is very little time to sit and enjoy
reading. Reading at home is a part of the Team Triangle and an EXTREMELY important part of a
successful education.

- practicing math facts for 10 minutes each evening:
 2 + ___ = 10
 9 + 6 = ___
basic addition and subtraction facts for tens and nines

fact families - 8+4=12 4+8=12 12-8+4 12-8=4

Practice counting money (and counting by tens from any number: 37 - 47 - 57 - 67 etc. This will
change as the children progress in their
basic math skills.
