How can I have my child tested for EXTEND?

Children are nominated for testing by either the parent or teacher.  This 
request must be in writing.  Children are tested in the Fall and Spring.

How does a child qualify for EXTEND?

There are five components to the EXTEND testing.  They are: Teacher Rating, 
Parent Rating, Creativity Test, I.Q. Test, and Achievement Test (TCAP or 
PIAT)

How often will my child attend EXTEND classes?

Students at WJB attend class for 1 1/2 hours while the students in the 
elementary 
schools attend for 2 hours.  However,  WJB students are offered additional 
classes for
