I am in my 18th year of teaching in Tennessee public schools. I
hold a B.S. degree in Education from the University of West Georgia. By
Tennessee's standards, I am highly qualified for teaching grades 1-8. I am
married to Bob Lancaster for 25 years, and I have two children:
Ashley 22 is a senior at the University of Tennessee Knoxville majoring in
psychology and plans to attend law school and Stephanie 19 is a freshman
at UT Knoxville attending nursing school. GO VOLS!!!!! My husband and I
didn't experience the "empty nest" syndrome too long.
I love to ride with my husband on his Harley through the Smoky Mountains!!
It's such a thrill!! We have a one year old cat named Jack who literally has
caught everything imaginable. He chases us around the house and plays non
stop.
My mission for the class is to provide a conducive learning environment for
my students. I want them to get the most from my class, and to
remember the fun things we did in class many years down the road. I strive
to provide to the community, through the help of the school system,
productive citizens. It is my pleasure to be enriching the mind of your
child.
