About The Teacher
I am in my 18th year of teaching in Tennessee public schools. I hold a B.S. degree in Education from the University of West Georgia. By Tennessee's standards, I am highly qualified for teaching grades 1-8. I am married to Bob Lancaster for 25 years, and I have two children: Ashley 22 is a senior at the University of Tennessee Knoxville majoring in psychology and plans to attend law school and Stephanie 19 is a freshman at UT Knoxville attending nursing school. GO VOLS!!!!! My husband and I didn't experience the "empty nest" syndrome too long. I love to ride with my husband on his Harley through the Smoky Mountains!! It's such a thrill!! We have a one year old cat named Jack who literally has caught everything imaginable. He chases us around the house and plays non stop.

Mission
My mission for the class is to provide a conducive learning environment for my students. I want them to get the most from my class, and to remember the fun things we did in class many years down the road. I strive to provide to the community, through the help of the school system, productive citizens. It is my pleasure to be enriching the mind of your child.
