About The Teacher
Hello! My name is Tammy Sheppard and I am a teacher at Castle Heights Elementary School. I am married and I have two daughters, Hanna and Gracie. Hanna is in 7th grade at Walter J. Baird and Gracie is in Kindergarten at Coles Ferry. My family and I moved to Mt.Juliet in 2004 from Greenville, North Carolina. While in Greenville, I obtained my B.S. in Middle Grades Education from East Carolina University and began working on my M.S. in Math. In addition, I taught 6th grade language arts, reading, writing, and social studies at E.B. Aycock Middle School for three years. I have many interests and hobbies. I absolutely love sports regardless of whether I am watching or playing. In addition, I love the arts and I enjoy the outdoors. A new hobby that I have is scrapbooking, photography, and motorcycle riding, which I try to enjoy quite often. As you can see, I am not one to sit around. I enjoy staying active with my family whenever possible.
