Policies

ALL CURRICULUM TAUGHT IS CORRELATED WITH STATE GUIDELINES AND NATIONAL  STANDARDS. 

For Physical Education:

Students are to dress out for P.E. each day.  
Five points will be deducted from the students grade each day they are not dressed 
out, and a discipline note will be given to go in their discipline folder.
Students are Required to secure their P.E. clothes in a gym locker. (with a lock furnished from 
home) Please do not use your school lock.
Students need to use the restroom and get water while they are in the locker room, 
before and after each class.
Please leave any valuables locked in your school locker.
ALL NOTES FROM HOME must be signed in the office, by Mrs. McDowell, Mr. 
Benson, or Coach Sampson excusing the student from P.E. activity.  This needs to be 
done by 8:00 a.m. the day the note is written.

DRESS REQUIREMENTS

Suggested clothes are:  shorts, t-shirt, tennis shoes, jogging pants
Shorts must follow dress code policy
T-shirts must have sleeves and the shirt tail must be long enough to tuck into shorts or 
pants.  
Solid shirts without writting on them are preferred.
Tennis shoes are required in p.e. to be able to participate in the activity.  
No flip-flops, slides, mules,backless tennis shoes, hiking boots, eastlands, bare feet, or crocs.
Jogging pants are great especially for the winter months.
Please no denim of any kind.
No cut off shorts that are not hemmed.
Please do not dress out in school code clothes because of wear and tear on your good 
clothes.
