Welcome, my name is Tina Bratcher, and I am a fifth grade teacher at Castle Heights
Upper Elementary. I do bus duty each morning from 7:00AM to 7:30AM. I am
available for conferences during my planning time or afterschool, please schedule. My planning
schedule for this year is as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:55 to 2:40. On
Friday mornings from 7:10AM to 7:45AM, I sponsor the Speed Scrabble Club.
My passions are for my family and writing poetry. I enjoy reading, and my favorite author is John
Grisham. I know a lot of students struggle with the motivation to read, but I find it helpful that if you
can find an author you enjoy reading, you will probably enjoy other books by that same author.
My mission for each of my students is to have an exciting new year. Learning can be
both fun and challenging. I look forward to meeting daily goals with each of my
students. In our classroom community, we will strive to help and support each other as
we travel through the sixth grade.
