Week of October 21-25 Assessment on Friday

Monday: We completed the Scienctific Experiment on our Air Trolley Activity

Tuesday: If you are traveling 80 mph, how long does it take you to go 80 miles? We are basically learning about Average Speed, but we began the lesson differentiating among constant, instantaneous, and average speed. WE took notes in a foldable and practiced solving a few problems.

Students also did an Air Trolley evaluation of themselves and their team members.

Wednesday:   Bubble Gum Physics...Students calculated speed of chewing gum. They recorded data and calculated for speed, which was Chomps per Second.

Thursday:   We will be reviewing distancel, speed, variables for the assessment on Friday

Friday: Assessment

Week of October 14-18 We worked on the intro to physics standard. The finale was constructing air trolleys The finale was to fly them and calculate distance. We then got Team Averages, Class Averages, and 7th Grade Averages. This included recording data into tables, making line graphs and bar graphs.
