THE FOLLOWING ARE DRESS CODE RULES THAT YOU WILL ADHERE TOO:
1. NO Jewelry!
2. You may wear a tobaggan during the winter months. (November through
March)
3. You may NOT wear pocketed undergarments.
4. Girls MAY NOT wear underwire bras.
5. NO purses or wallets.
6. NO faddish hairstyles as determined by the Alternative School Director.
7. Students are not allowed to have:
a. braids
b. extensions
c. weaves
d. bobbie pins
e. clips
f. barrettes
g. hair gel
h. facial hair (boys)
i. nail polish or fake fingernails
j. make-up
8. Boys hair must be 0-2 inches in length any where on the head to evenly
tapered.
9. Girls hair that reaches the shoulders must be pulled back in a ponytail.
10. All bangs must be kept above the eyebrows.
11. Boys and Girls hair MUST be a natural color all over the head!
12. NO notched eyebrows!
13. Any form of body art must be covered by student. Consequence will be
loss of 100 points for each day uncovered.
Outer clothing:
1. No coats are allowed on in the building.
2. All sweat pants must be gray in color.
3. All sweat pants must be the correct size.
4. Elastic hem at bottom of pant leg will stay.
5. All pants must be kept at waist level. (2 inches above or below naval)
6. Basketball type sneakers are allowed as footwear.
7. Shoelaces must ALWAYS be tied in a regulation knot! If you have velcro
straps they will be COMPLETELY folded across shoe to attach.
8. Undershirts must be one of three colors:
a. white
b. gray
c. maroon
9. NO thumbholes in shirts!
10. Long John type shirts are allowed as undershirts if they are the correct
colors as stated in #8.
11. Long sleeved gray shirts are allowed. Sweatshirts are acceptable without
a hood.
12. Gray sweatshirts may be worn as an outer shirt BUT must remained tucked
in at all times.
13. Your shirt WILL remained tucked in at all times!
14. Loss of a shirt will result in student replacing that shirt or paying
$10 per shirt lost.
ALL UNCORRECTABLE DRESS CODE RULE INFRACTIONS WILL RESULT IN A LOSS OF 100
POINTS!
