I am a Lawrenceburg (Leoma), Tennessee native. I am heading into my 15th year
here at MES. I taught first grade for 8 years, Title I for 1 year, and second
grade for 3 years. This will be my third year teaching Kindergarten, and I am
so excited about the opportunity to work with Mrs. Rollins and Miss Kincaid
again giving the youngest members of our MES family a great start to
learning.
I have a B.A. in Childhood Learning from Martin Methodist College, and a M.A.
and Ed.S in Curriculum & Instruction from Nova Southeastern University. I
also have an instructor/cosmetologist license and previously owned "Just
Hair" in Lawrenceburg for 15 years and taught cosmetology at the vocational
level for 6 years.
My husband and I live in Williamson County with our daughter, Tate, and
our two dogs, Chance and Cinnamon. I love to read, do crosswords and word
searches. I also enjoy gardening, swimming, and fishing. My birthday is
February 22 (I always throw a big party). I collect rabbits/bunnies and
Tennessee History books.
