Hi, my name is Brittany Carter, and this is my third year to teach 4th
grade. I am thrilled to be in Martin Elementary School!! To tell you a
little bit about myself, I am married to my wonderful husband, Aaron
Carter. We have two wonderful children: Ashton Grant, who just turned 6 and
will be starting Kindergarten this year, and Aniston Gabrielle, who just
turned 3 and will be starting preschool this year. We just recently added a
new member to our family, our German Shepherd puppy, Gaige. Our family
resides here in Martin, but my hometown is Union City. I graduated from UTM
in the spring of 2007, and I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary
Education with emphasis in K-8.
My ultimate mission for my class is for each student to feel safe and
comfortable while learning each day!! It is my goal for your children to
love being in their school each day. I plan to treat all children the way I
would want my own children to be treated, which means with love, care, and
compassion. I plan to implement the Character Counts mission, as well as
having zero tolerance for bullying. Again, my mission is to teach your
child, not only curiculum lessons, but also, life lessons that they can take
with them through the rest of their lives.
