This is my sixth year at
Martin Elementary School. The first two years I taught in the computer lab.
When we received the Ed Tech Launch II grant, I became the Technology Coach
for Martin Elementary. Last year, I worked half-time at MES as Technology
Coach and half-time as Weakley County Instructional Technology Specialist.
Before teaching at MES, I
taught at the middle and high school levels. I am certified to teach
elementary grades 1-8, and high school English and business classes. I have
taught in grades 3-12.
My husband, James, and I
live in Union City and have two children, Jennifer and Stephen. We also have a
son-in-law, Dennis, and a four year old GRAND-son, Alex.
They all live in Virginia
Beach.
Our goal in the computer lab
at MES is to equip our students with the tools and knowledge they will need to
succeed in a technologically advanced society. Our students use technology
tools to enhance their classroom curriculum.
