Congratulations to our October S.T.A.R.: Robyn Armatys
August: Bailey Spencer
September: Melodi Clayton
We are enjoying having Ms. Rebecca Taylor as a Student Teacher from UTM in
our classroom. She is from Trenton, TN and will graduate in December. She is
doing an excellent job of working with our children.
I appreciate so much all the help you gave me for our Halloween Party. We
had LOTS of food and several parents were able to come help with it as well.
You probably at least heard about the whipping cream game Maliki's Dad
provided! They enjoyed sticking their faces in their own plate of whipping
cream to search for M&M's and Hershey Kisses!
Friday, November 6 we will honor the October S.T.A.R. Students at our
school. That assembly will begin at 8:00 a.m. in our gym.
November 11 will mark a special annual event at our school. At 8:00 a.m.
there will be a special recognition of Veteran's in our community, especially
those connected to MES families. Parents are welcome to come and if you have
a Veteran who can attend, please let me know so they can participate as an
honored guest. Mrs. Robin Pape, our music teacher, does an excellent job with
this each year.
November 25-29 we will be dismissed for Thanksgiving. I hope you have a
wonderful time and safe travels as you celebrate this special holiday. I am
thankful for your children and the blessing they are to me!
S.T.A.R. Selection each month:This selection is done by the teacher and is
based on good citizenship in our school and in our room, overall good
behavior, turning work in on time with their name on it, and being
respectful to everyone. It is a real honor to be selected and the students
receive special gifts in this school-wide assembly. Family members are
invited to attend to see their child honored so it is a very special time. I
hope every child will strive to be a S.T.A.R. this year!
Thank you!
