Does my child have to read EVERY night?

Yes, it is so important for your child to read aloud to you. These books are 
not long and very interesting. This is a good time to sit down and spend 
time together.

Is this reading class in place of the regular reading class?

Your child will have his/her regular reading class. This class is in 
addition to the regular reading class. This class meets for 45 minutes of 
additional reading.
