I am in my fifteenth year of teaching. I taught third or fourth grade each
year until I moved to the Book Room as the Literacy Leader for Martin
Elementary School. This is my third year as literacy leader and my sixth year
as assistant principal. I have a masters in education and an endorsement in
administration and supervision. I have two grown sons and a daughter-in-law.
The mission for the literacy leader is to facilitate student reading by
working closely with the classroom teachers, as well as the instructors of
the Tyner and Triumphs classes to help all students become successful
readers.
