This week we will be having our Place Value Chapter Test in Math on Wed.
After that we will jump into Decimals. Around the middle of September we will
do the "Million Dollar Project"- I'll be sending home the details.
In Reading we have already started a chapter book - Among the Hidden - it is
great so far!
Social Studies - the Civil War has started. We will take Chapter 2 test this
Th. Chapter 3 will take us more detail into the battles - so much fun. In
this chapter the students will get to do a Civil War project - they get to
pick the battle they want to report on.
We have started the Life Science unit in our book - last week we jumped into
CELLS and will have a quiz on Wed. Next, we will learn about Ecosystems. They
will have a chance to earn Extra Credit points.....
I will be sending home Soybean letters next week. Please sign up to be a
chaperone if possible. Soybean Festival is Sept. 11th
