| Basic information regarding homework in my Resource classroom:
Each student will have a homework folder that will be sent home every
night. Assignments will be written on a form inside the folder. I ask that
parents check the folders nightly and initial the space for each
corresponding day.
All completed classwork and homework will be sent home on Friday with a form
attatched for parents to sign and return indicating that they have reviewed
their child's work for the preceeding week. Please sign and return only
this form. Your child's work is for you to keep.
If your child is served in resource language/spelling, he/she will have a
weekly spelling test each Friday. A list of spelling words for each 6 weeks
will be sent home with each student. This is your list to keep at home. If
the list gets misplaced, please do not hesitate to ask for another one.
Parents, please remember that your child's academic success is uniquely
enhanced by the time and interest that you share. I strongly encourage you
to spend at least a few minutes reading with your child each night and
reviewing daily homework assignments.
