In resource reading, students have been working on using synonyms and
antonyms, identifying story elements, and identifyting the author's purpose
for writing the selection. In spelling, students are learning words at new
levels. Our current focus in language is on identifying and using prefixes
and suffixes correctly. Finally, in resource math students have been
solving problems involving estimation.
During 4th grade CLUE, students just completed their independent
investigations. Each student created an investigation that was personal and
unique. They did a wonderful job! Please make sure to view their pictures on
the class website. During the third grading period we will focus
on "unsolved mysteries".
