bottom of the page after you have helped your child with his/her work.
Multiplication Fact Practice
We are now learning our multiplication facts. We have covered O’s and 1’s.
I will be giving timed tests on Thursdays and Fridays. Boys and girls will
need to practice their facts every night by writing them, making or using
flash cards, or having you call out the facts to them. Please, only let
them work on the set we are learning at the time. For example, if we are
working on learning 3’s, don’t let them work on anything but numbers 0-12
times 3. There is no way we have enough time in class to drill enough to
memorize their facts, so I need your help at home every night. I will be
asking them daily if they have studied the night before, and I will give
them a treat from the treasure box each day he/she brings back a page full
of facts that have been written the night before. It must be a full page to
get the treasure.
