READING
A story is a special thing,
The ones that I have read.
They do not stay inside the book,
They stay inside my head.
I am reading fairy tales and folk tales to my students. Sometimes we view
the book on video. Boys and girls enjoy hearing and seeing the different
versions retold by different authors. We have had great fun
with 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' and 'Tackylocks and the Three Bears'.
Other books that we have read lately are 'The Three Little Pigs' and 'The
True Story of the Three Little Pigs'. Fairy tales and nursery rhymes are
enjoyable for all ages.
