I would like to invite you to participate in Martin Primary Library's
Donation Project. This is a voluntary program to give our students a sense
of pride and involvement in their library. Children may celebrate their
birthday or parents may honor someone special or give a memorial for a loved
one through a book donation. This is an opportunity to share your love and
respect for reading with your children and other children at MPS.
Give your child the gift of reading!
The selection of an appropriate book can be done in several ways:
1. Purchase a book with your child.
2. Visit the library and select one of our pre-purchased titles. A check
can be made out to MPS for $15.00 for our hardcopies.
3. Choose a book from your personal collection that is in excellent
condition.
A special bookplate will be placed on the inside of the book. The bookplate
will state the date, donor and name in which the book was donated.
An appropriate card will be sent letting the honoree or their family know of
your thoughtful gift. Your child will also be the first to check the book
out!
We hope you will participate in this wonderful opportunity to add new books
to the library while also encouraging your children to become lifelong
readers!
If you have any questions about our Donation Project, please give me a call
or e-mail me here at school.
