How do I pay for breakfast &/or lunch and can I eat with my child?

We serve both breakfast and lunch at our school. Breakfast is served from
7:20 - 7:40 and cost $.90 for students, $1.40 for visitors. Our assigned
lunch time is from 11:10 - 11:35. The lunch price for K-2 students is $1.50
and for visitors $2.25.
Your child will have an account in the cafeteria. You may pay for lunch by
the week, day or month. All money must be sent to school in an envelope
with the child's name, account # and teacher's name on the envelope.
We love to have parents occasionally join us for lunch. I do,
however, need to count adults when I turn in our lunch count at the
beginning of each day. Please send me a note informing me that you will be
here for lunch and your lunch choice. Please wait for the class either
outside our door or at the cafeteria door.

What do I do if my child has to go home a different way than usual?

You will need to send a note informing me of the change. If your child just
tells me that he/she is supposed to go home a different way, I will not
allow him/her to make the change. This is for your child's safety. I must
have a note from the parent/guardian.

Can parents volunteer at school?

Definitely! We LOVE to have parents involved at school. Just let me know
what you would like to do. We can use parents to copy materials, work in
centers, read to the class, listen to children read, or assist the children
at lunch with opening their cartons, etc.

What if my child needs to take medicine at school?

You will need to complete a medicine form and bring the medicine to the
school office. Medicine is kept in a locked cabinet in the First Aid room.
When it is time for the medicine to be given, Mrs. Chris will call your
child to come to the First Aid room and dispense it.
