| Your child will have a homework sheet on which he/she is to draw or glue
pictures of things beginning with that particular letter sound. Your child
will also have a take-home book for each letter of the alpahbet that he/she
should read to you. Parents need to sign the book after it has been read
and return it to school. These books contain many of our sight words.
When we begin the Reading Iniative small reading groups, your child will
have a special book bag and a take-home book. Your child should read this
book to you, as well.
