Please send snacks when you can. Remember that snacks that are prepackaged in
portion sizes are easiest for us to handle. We have LOTS of pretzels right
now. We now have 21 students in our class.

Our numbers are: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
We've added the number words from zero to ten this week.
Practice recognizing numbers and number words to 10 at least.
We are working on skip counting by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s.
Count from 10-1. Begin working on counting past your child’s “bump”.
The “bump” is that speed bump the child comes to when counting, typically after
29 or 39. We’ll be working on that as well.
This week's letter is /N/. The /n/ sound is found in newspaper, nickels,
neckties, and naps. Keep reviewing /r/, /n/, /p/, /s/, /c/, /a/, f/,/m/, /t/ and
/b/ and writing capital and lower case s,c,a,f,m,t,p,n and r.
Please remember to have your child return library books on Tuesdays and wear
tennis shoes on Fridays for P.E. Your child's back pack is a wonderful place
to keep library books safe from pets and younger siblings!
