       I hope you are ready to enter the wonderful world of First Grade! 
This year we are going to be like the Little Blue Engine, who worked hard 
and continually told herself, "I think I can, I think I can!"  By the end of 
First Grade you will be able to say, I can read. I can solve addition and 
subtraction facts. I can spell. I can write a story. I can always do my very 
best. So climb on board Mrs. Marcia's 1st Grade Train!! It is going to be an 
exciting year!
