What do I do to apply for Preschool?
You must fill out an application and your child must be accepted for the
class. You can get an application at any of the schools in Weakley County
for their Preschool program. In order to process your application, you must
provide your child's certified birth certificate, Social Security number, and
some form of verification of your income. This can be your food stamp case
number, a copy of your income tax return, or a copy of your paycheck stub.

When do children come to school?
Preschool classes have the same schedule and holidays as the rest of Weakley
County schools.

How long is the school day?
Children arrive from 7:25 until 7:40 and dismiss at 1:45.

Can my preschool child ride the bus?
No, you must provide your child's transportation to and from school.

Can my preschool child attend the Before and After daycare at school?
No, our program is not designed for 4-year-olds.

When will I know if my child has been accepted to the program?
You will receive a letter from Martin Primary Prechool before the end of
June.

Once accepted, what must I do to have my child ready for school?
Your child must have a physical and have the proper immunizations for
school. You will need to make an appointment with the Weakley County Health
Department or your Health Care Provider for these. They will give you the
proper Immunization and Physical form for school registration.
