| Congratulations to Asijah Woolridge! She is our STAR student for April.
End of the Year Picnic to Martin Parks and Rec on Friday, May 16. Please
send $1 by Wed., May 14 for the bus. Please send a sack lunch and 2 can
drinks (labeled with your child's name) to school on Friday. Please dress
your child for the weather for a fun day outdoors. If you would like to
chaperone, return the slip by Mon., May 12. Please remember you may not
bring siblings/children who do not attend Martin Primary if you are acting
as a chaperone. Chaperones should meet us at the park. Students are
allowed to bring one outdoor toy labeled with your child's name. We're
looking forward to a fun day!
Report cards may be picked up on Fri., May 23 from 7:30-11:30. Any student
owing money cannot receive his/her report card. If you prefer to have the
report card mailed to your home; send a stamped, self-addressed business-
size envelope to school.

You may send a personal size bottle of hand sanitizer (ex. Germ-x) for your
child to use. This will be kept in their cubby. Please put their name on
the bottle.
Congratulations class! For the month of February we had 15/21 students
reach the reading goal. Please continue to read with your child each day!
Pizza Hut "Book It" program begins Oct.1 and ends on March 31. After
reading 10 small reading group books at home, your child will receive a
coupon on the last day of the month for one free personal pan pizza from
Pizza Hut. After listening to your child read, please make sure you sign
the reading sheet log every day.
