doing an excellent job and we are so happy to have her in our classroom.

Read both stories from your big reading book every night and study spelling
words with your child. It's very important to work with your child at home
in order to assure success in the classroom.
Homework is to be done at home and returned the next day.
Remember to practice addition and subtraction facts at home.
Count change with your child to practice money and coin value.
Use an analog clock to distinguish between the minute hand and hour hand.
Practice telling time to the hour and half hour.
We are also adding and subtracting 2 and 3 digit numbers without
regrouping. Place value is also included in our current math studies. We
have learned to distinguish where the one's, ten's and hundred's places
are.
